In an effort to make the city cleaner and healthier for everyone, Spokane Valley officials initiated a street sweeping program for residential areas. It started early in March and will continue until May during weekdays from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM. The program will certainly help in improving air quality in the city’s streets. However, the dust that would be lifted by sweepers can be problematic if people with allergies or asthma are exposed to it.
